Hi,
I understand your situation,coz i'm also renting room in Bedok.
Are you consider to find a room without owner ? we are trying to find a room without owner now. But it's difficult & we got no friends to share with us if wan to find a house there.... |

| i m thinking of sharing with another tenants,but the whole HDB rental may renting at $1200 to $1400 so high! how to afford that kind of rental if sharing amount 4 person! |

| Aiya,actually the rental is not so high want la,is because the agent want to get fast,easy & high commission, that y rooms rate keeps going higher & higher.agents always provide some so call goods services before tenant rent the rooms! but after sales services is dam sucks.when u got problem with the owner & try to get in touch with the agent,they will try to forgets who u r,or makes excuse that owner is like that la,got to bare with it la! they (agents) tent to push away the problem & forget that they have taken our commission la! i m wondering if this type of agent is provide such a sucks service,should we refer them to HDB for action or refer it to the higher authoratily inorder to suspend their license asking them to go for a refesh course or take the agent license test again inorder to provide better services to the public.anyway i will bring up the horrible & terrible landlord case & the poor service of this house agent to HDB for further action taken,if been rejected by HDB, i will bring up to the MP,minister fo incharging HDB for further advise! For those tenant suffering out there,let combine our teamwork to get rid of poor attitude & services from owner & house agent. |

dun forget that some of the agents also will combine force and take action to some rude, unbehaviour tenants..
some tenants thought that some agents must serve them completely because the pay agent's commission.but do the commission worthy with the job done by the agents? in some cases, they agents have to bring the tenants for many houses to view and unfortunately none of the house chosen. you may say that is agents problem not urs, rite?? then if agents charge u for the commission under the guideline of IEA, why u (tenants) want to make noise and complaining?? most of the agents also charge 1/2 month rental where u say the amount still high??

| cos charging half from us doesn't means the agent only earn half the commission,the agent also sucks another half from the owner.inoder to earn fast & high commission they will try their best to push high for the rental ! let me ask u something if bringing tenants for only one time view close the deal then every one want to be agents,nobodys want to work others professional. this is their job!!! they takes customer commission, so is to provide service to the tenants or else take com for free! same as saleperson,if u dun provide service to comsumers then do u think they will buy product from u! anyway reasonly got news say 34 china man squeeze into the HDB rented house! may i know hows the agent explain,the china man got any work permits ,so did the agent got seriously inspected on it or just rented it to owner for fast & easy commission causing harzard & danger to the owner! |

how many siblings u have?? u r lucky if u r the only one of ur family heir.
if u have 5 siblings for example, can all of urs successful in life??
dun show ur stupidity here..not all agents are bad or good.there are some cases happened after all these agents are human like u too. dun say u never made mistake...
and for u info...
1/2 or 1 mth comm taken from owner and tenant are stated by IEA. u can check www.IEA.gov.sg if still want to show ur stubborn and ur stupidity.read properly and then u can make comment and if u think u r not satisfy, make complaint to IEA itself...dun try to be hero and barking like s.hit!!

| hey hey hey Y so workout,don't tell me u r the so call greedy sucker agents! usually only no balls then don't show thier ID,don't tell me u r one of this brainless or unscrupulous and thickfaced agents. perhaps i shoudn't refer to IEA,i should refer to IRA everytime during the closing deal of owner & tenant no proper reciept was issue by the agent,even aunty go supermarket buy things also got reciept n y don't agents! may i know agents got file up recipt of their annul incomes inorder to reports income taxs,perhaps we should seek advices from income tax Reveune IRA for further advices! lastly y can't tenant chose,anyway end of the day tenant r going to stay with the owner but not the greedy sucking agents ! |

i don't see u r replying to those 2 'guest' above..
people talking abt IEA u change to IRA.
i don't think that these 2 'guest' if they are agent, they don't know their responsibility to IRA if they know they have to follow IEA.

cursing and attacking people especially those agents.
from my opinion, you are the one who provoking peoples.then when these guys counter attack you cannot accept and called them low class and uncivilise?

why people like us referring to IEA,because most of tenants like u when comes to any dispute between agent n tenant keep asking where to get information regarding agent's fee.after we provides u with IEA website,u still make noise.what kind of person r u??

| Actually $400 for a couple is ok because furnished rooms will definitely cost more than that. Plus you are paying for ONE room... so you cannot expect to watch tv in the hall. And the owners will also restrict your cooking and washing clothes so that their electricity and water bill will not be so high. if you want freedom, share a flat and be prepared to pay at least 600 to 700. |

$400 only for a couple to stay in a room with no furniture,with fan somemore got aircon.
I think I must go down to this unit to grasp faster for this room. So it was a room rental, a place where we had a shelter to sleep after a hard's day work. Can't bother to watch the news at the hall with the owner, they wants privarcy, so do we the couple, must well locked in the room hugging each other. |
