In fact, many developers are rather resigned that the market sentiment in the first half of 2008 will be more or less subdued. They are hoping that things will look up in the second half of the year.
Other developers had said that they would monitor global markets to see how things would develop before they launch any project.
Keppel Land also takes into consideration that if the US goes into recession, there will be some default cases because the take up rate in 2007 was very high and some purchasers may not be able to pay for what they had purchased.

we are now entering the 2nd phase of property boom in singapore.... the 1st phase of property boom happened in 1987... a recession year.....the first phase of property boom last for 10 years from 1987 to 1997...during that time any person who has enter the property market is laughing all the way to the bank...with at least 500% gain !!!!
the second phase of property boom happened from 2007 which is last year, so tell me how many percent gain you are expecting from this property gain ? how many more years to gooooooooooo ?cannot tell you now because we are only at the begining ......so many years to goooo... i have already predict after a few years later......ppl will start to report seeing value in property investment... buy buy buy...
for those MISS the BOAT one you still got chance.... the phase three proptery boom happen after 2118..... so dun worry... stilll got time to buy in after that..... alll the best....
