With all the bad news and economy weakening, the possibility of drop in price is very high and the problem is to get people to buy. Those who brought at the peak at the last cycle were still suffering losses. All those who brought high either lately or last year just join the club. Those who brought at the lowest are actually the winners.
Singapore is small and it's really like a boat or now people who call ship that has to face the big current coming. All those countries (land) with their own resources are also facing challenges. Just look at Malaysia, our neighbour. Do you think a ship can handle all that?
Just go to the property sales site and take a look, it's depressing there. |

Property price will suffer a sharp decline. No way will buyer willingly to pay for such current high price. Last year no bad news price rocketed I can understand. This year so many unfavourable news some bullish pple can still say property price can go up?? This I cannot fathom and concur |

Property prices are not GOING down..they have already GONE down. If you look around and negotiate, you can get 25% lower- than-peak deals.
Whether it will go down further is debatable. With current rental levels and interest rates, chances for an upmove is higher than a downmove from current levels. For prices to go down even more, either there has to be a spike up in rates or job losses. |

You damn bullshit leh... 2-mths ago I view The Raintree, I couldn't secure a deal by offering at $750psf which I believe is an average transacted price during that period.. I don't believe there will be some buyer willing to offer above $800psf even agent told me already some buyer offering at $809psf.
