| Actually, it bottoms down to individuals, not the company. This also happens virtually to every company. There's sure bound to have the black sheep around. Even lecturers & lawyers can commit crimes too. |

I think the company should take action with such complain, not let it be.
Company culture can determine down to every team member.
This is one of the tasks for government, to rise up CSI, customer satisfaction index.
Bottom line, this thing should not happen. |

| Don't understand why people wants to use agents' services. They are expensive and I think many don't provide good value add. |

If you try to advertise on your own, you will be swarmed with agents calling you to sign exclusive with them with promises that they have many ready clients or they are specialist in this and that.
If you are trying to buy or rent a property, you call up, first thing you are being asked is whether you are an agent or direct client. You can hardly find a seller without an agent. Reason for this, you can refer to my first para.
This is just my personal experience as a buyer and seller. Maybe agents or some others have a different perspective. |

Aiya..... I am also an agent with another company. Even i myself sometimes get pissed off by dealing with rude agents from various diff companies. Sometimes call agents to check on their units that they are selling...and we get treated like some beggar as though we owe them some money! Sometimes it really spoils my day. But then again....there are really many nice and sincere agents out there!

I also have bad experience with Malay HSR agent yesterday. She pretended to be so naive to ask for 2 months deposit for 1 year rental. The conversation like this:
Agent: You have to pay 2 month deposit+ 1 month agent fee for 1 year lease
Me: No such thing, mam. It's 1 month deposit + half a month agent fee
Agent: Who tell you so? It's normal. All my tenants do that. 2 month deposit for 1 years ... Talking very confident and arrogant
Me: No, mam. I stayed here for so many years and renting so many house. I know the rule.
Agent: Oh, is it? I don't know. Last time, I just rented out a house in Pasir Ris. The tenant there accepts 2 month deposits for 1 year lease. I think it's normal. Then 1 month deposit and 1/2 agent fee is ok.
She though I was a kid or crazy to believe her story. Talking nonsense. So be extra careful when dealing with this kind of agent. I do not have her mobile phone ; I threw her namecard into the dustbin right after that. Do not intend to contact her anymore. |
