Tried many but nowadays agents do not list the price.. how to know is within my budget?? Should i keep calling to check... Btw, i'm looking at pte pty lah.. not HDB... Very likely my budget too low.. that's why no response.... Wait for the price to drop drop then... : |

If agent don't list the price, you can always check with them. If your price offered is too low, then you will either have to up it or moderate your expectations eg. look for 2 bedroom apt rather than 3 bedrooms ones or look for further away locations.
Not sure if prices will drop. Maybe it will if the US economy goes into prolonged recession. |

Not likely of a pro-longed recession. PM Lee just said that pro-longed recession in the US is an unlikely scenario. Paulson from US has also said that the light at the end of the tunnel is already showing and the sub-prime crisis is more than past the half way mark, technically, the US is still not even in recession.
S'pore is going to have IR, Formula 1 race and lots of construction projects from now till 2013. I don't think buyers can wait for lower prices, it is about time to get their dream home now. Otherwise, be prepared to pay more dearly as inflation gets factored into sales price.
Interest is low, buyers should go for it. Sellers, if not desperate should hold their ppty. |
