Confused Guest	Pls kindly advise me whther is a must to get bridging loan?? 18 May 08 11:12 pm Hi All, I quite confused & would like to enquire whether I must get a bridging loan for buying a 4rm flat, pls kindly advise me as I needed it urgently. I have sold my 4rm current hse & the 2nd appt is on 9 July 08 (for selling part). For buying 4rm flat, the 1st appt date is on 4 June 08. My cpf has used on current sold hse & afraid that my cpf $ is unable to get trsf back to my cpf a/c on time for 1st appt of 4 June to buy the 4rm flat. My selling agent told me that I must get a bridging loan if I goin to purchase anther flat but I want to make sure whther is it a must to get bridging loan due to others and have seeked for advise from law firm said it's a waste of $ & no need to apply for bridging loan for me. & I have found out from bank that to get bridging loan I still have to pay additional $200 admin charge & pay the lawyer firm $500 for arranging to amend the loan agreement. If in the end that I don't need the bridging loan, I still have to fork out additional $200 for penalty which altogether need to pay so much. so I asked another agent but said no need to get it where I quite confused & lost with what my agent, law firm & others has advised me quite differently, could someone pls kindly give me genuine advises whether I must apply for bridging loan & is it have to get ready the CPF $ & 5% cash ready on 1st appt date for buying? Tks Alot! Confused
