do you think he can sell the house in 15 years time from now if he buy now

hdb overpriced , so event 15 years later you got the same price , then you still lost in your interest , unless atleast 50% than current price ,
meaning now 320K then in 15 years time it should sell at 480K
then the same problem comes in ,if you sell then you need buy another one , then it comes to square , you should be old enough meaning at least 45++ then get another loan is another issue , if get also monthly paymet is very high

so think about that , only you got 1 way , if you buy overpriced hdb now , then stay there forever no u-turn if dont want to loose anything , esle in trouble

How much was the price of a 4 room flat 15 yrs ago?? 60K!!! how much now?? Are you aware that there are some HDB nearly hit the price of 1 million? You go and think about it. We are heading to the same direction as Hongkong...

hv been following up an classified ads for HDB dover #04

seller asking 10k cov initial, then later reduced to 8k after week, then reduced to 5k again...this morning, I check again, it's asking $0 cash Very Happy

guess, next is to ask below valuation Laughing

i have been following that as well dover #04 corner.

valuatioin is $470k. i understand that for 5rm in dover, val at least 580k with higher level.

yes...it's way too overprice for flats in that area.

I believe the #04 dover unit is directly facing MRT track....
haha, owner can't wait to find a 'sucker'or else have to continue to endure the noise from the MRT

eyeing bedok now and started to view houses since late augast, found quite common that seller are asking over 30k even 40k cov, and seems those units are gone very quickly. don't know how long i can hang in there, sigh...


Gone cos sold or gone cos they dropped the idea. As some one posted earlier, some sellers are just "testing" the markets.. see which "poor sucker" will come along..

I have been house-hunting since July this year. Haven't found one.. We are prepared to wait (even after wedding), till we find one that is not overpriced.

Remember, its your hard-earned cash.. COV is just to feed the greed of the seller...


which area you are looking at? any interesting trend on the price?
