the owner may do so with the tenant's permission.
i have had owners who are holding on to the tenanted apartments' letter box keys with the tenants' knowledge. in my case, the owners help themselves with their letters while leaving the tenants' untouched.
i think most tenants would prefer if the owners leave the tenants' letters in their letterboxes rather than have the owners' slipping them under their doorsteps. it's kinda weird knowing the owners passing by their doorsteps so often even though it's only to drop off their letters for them. |
