| Sharing: what can do when owner enter ur house without appr? |

I just heard the story from my friend. Today is the day she decided to return the house back to owner. Due to work, she was late and tried her hard to drive back as soon as possible. When she reached her condo flat, she found out that owner and agent were seating inside. huh? She was so surprised, they are supposed to wait outside instead. The house did not officially return to them yet.
So she did call police and inform them that people illegally enter the house. Police did come and ask her to check and confirm everything is ok, no lost and damage before they left the house.
Some people may think it's unreasonable but if think from tenant side, it's reasonable to do. This will avoid later dispute with owner, protect yourselves and you are on the right side of the law anyway. If the owner is nasty, they could destroy a few things and ask u to compensate it. ur 5,6k+ deposit will gone. |
