We're interested in getting a unit at Normanton park but the price has accelerated by almost 40% from the past 6 mths beacuse of enbloc potential.
On the other hand, we're also warned that the piece of land belongs to MINDEF and can't be enbloc. This is 20+ building, we have to put bank loan & valuations into consideration.
Can someone provide any further advise? What is the difference between a private property and Mindef property under enbloc? 1270sqft for Norm park asking is 900k, is it worth buying?

Put in the worst senario, if cannot. You're buying for your own use, not investment, then don't buy. 99 yrs - 20+ yrs, left with only 70+ yrs for 900k for 1270sqft, personally if you've that kind of budget, there're many better place.
