Yet another landlord who refuses to pay deposit

I moved out of my rented place after more than 2 years. Agent asked for my account number saying LL will transfer the deposit to me soon. 2 weeks passed, didn't get anything. Asked agent, she said LL prefered to send me a cheque, 1 week later, she said she think LL had just sent out the cheque. Last week, she said the landlord said she would send the cheque out, but i received nothing. Now she said landlord is uncontactable. I was pretty close to some of the neighbours and they managed to get me LL's phone number and address. I have half a mind to show up at her door! She just got more than 1.7M from the en bloc a few days ago yet she is doing this to me. I need advice on what I should do next.
